Women want men that dominate other men. Not women. Women do not function in hierarchy, and we resent men that try and pull us into one.
We like dominant men because:
- They can protect us from other men
- We only have 1 man misbehaving to worry about
In a patriarchal environment, where wife stealing is common, child snatching, generalised rape or physical abuse of women… a woman's best bet is to get a hyper dominant man, that other guys won't mess with, but who sees women as women and therefore not people to compete or be aggressive with.
It's one of the attraction of gangsters and mobsters. They're so busy with men trying to take everything of theirs and or kills them they don't see a woman as any kind of threat, a woman can have a whole hiss fit and throw things around, he will see her as a petulant child at worst.
"Fight how? Compete how? Men are going to live their lives regardless of what I do. If you are referring to radical feminist extremes disconnect from the Internet for awhile. It’s true there are some annoying women that state they are better than men or loudly proclaim that men are all garbage or useless or whatever. But the majority are just trying to be able to pay our bills. I don’t need to fight male dominance, I’m doing my own thing. It’s a non factor for me at least. Men and women are different, but were all imperfect and human.
I am attracted to dominant men personally because I am an aggressive woman. I am mostly quiet but I will speak up, challenge, debate, or stand up for what I believe is right. My beliefs aren’t far from the average man, I just happen to be occasionally zesty and blunt. The dominant men I have implored weren’t threatened by it, but submissive men were at times. The reason I like them is because I need someone to hold me accountable and don’t like making more soft spoken men uncomfortable. I have dated all types of men, but find that ones who take charge are most compatible with me. In regards to strength, I acknowledge I am smaller, have less bone density, and muscle mass. It’s nice to feel safe with a healthy or strong man that looks out for you because he cares.
Every woman is different, someone else might not like men who take the reigns, but I personally do. It has no correlation. Intimate relationships are not comparible to societal norms and women who choose to go against the grain and challenge them are just trying to be their personal best. Women are people with goals too, if growing up you were told you couldn’t do something because you’re physically or academically inferior soley because of your sex you might want to challenge yourself too and test your limits. I see nothing wrong with this."
